Four Rockrose buildings on Jackson Avenue under construction

We reported last week that 26-21 Jackson Avenue, a building owned by Rockrose, was under construction to clear the second and third floor levels.1 As it turns out, Rockrose is doing the same with the three other buildings they own in the same vicinity. This group of buildings includes 26-09, 26-11 and 26-25 Jackson Avenue. As you can see from the permits below, all of the buildings are only slated for demolition.

Rockrose president Justin Elghanayan’s vision for these four buildings is to eventually turn them into retail space.2 However, there are no concrete plans for what will happen to these buildings after demolition is complete.
