Facade work halfway complete at 25-19 43rd Avenue

The last time we checked in on The Dutch at 25-19 43rd Avenue was in January, when construction crews had taken down scaffolding on the east side of the building.1 When we stopped by last week, we saw that construction crews have peeled away scaffolding on the south side of the building, as seen in the photo below. There’s still more work to do on the west and north sides, though.

The build permit calls for 68,145 square feet of residential space, with will span nine floors and 86 units.2  The zoning is for a FAR of 5.00.

Here’s more information on the building courtesy of its sales website from Douglas Elliman, DutchLIC.com:

STUDIO, 1 AND 2-BEDROOM RESIDENCES, WITH GREAT TRANSPORTATION ACCESS, PLUS A RICH ARRAY OF AMENITIES INCLUDING LANDSCAPED ROOF TERRACE, RESIDENT LOUNGE, FITNESS CENTER, BICYCLE STORAGE, AND MORE.

  1. Do I believe my eyes that they have drywall up in apartments that do not yet have windows? I can’t imagine this is good for the future of mold etc. in the apartment.
