QWFF: Feelings of compassion or contempt for Zenith?

Zenith, a short film, was screened at The Museum of the Moving Image on Saturday evening as part of the Boundaries thematic block. Here is the movie description: “When an adopted black Mennonite has an unexpected connection with a migrant worker, she is torn between her faith and her desire to explore the outside world.”

The Court Square Blog Review: Zenith explores themes of Karma, regret, miss opportunities and temptations. The film leaves you questioning whether to feel compassion for Zenith’s missing her opportunity to explore the outside world or contempt for turning her back on those who supported her most.
