What’s better than one penthouse unit in Court Square?

It’s not complicated. Two is better than one.

Last week, Douglas Elliman’s Jermain Miller listed PH1002 at the Vere on 26-26 Jackson Avenue,1 a 2-bed, 2-bath, 1155 square foot penthouse apartment with breathtaking views of Manhattan.2 That’s a decent amount of space, but some of you may want a little more room to stretch the feet out. Or perhaps you may have a larger family that won’t fit neatly in the two bedrooms. Still others just can’t settle for anything less than a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom pied-à-terre when you’ve flown in on your private jet from Paris on the way to Tokyo.

If you fall into any of those categories, you’ve lucked out, because Miller is scheduled to release PH1001, which is the apartment immediately next door. All you need is a hammer to knock down a few walls, a couple of million dollars to purchase both apartments, a few city permits to make it all legal, and wallah! A buyer now has “a rare opportunity for a buyer to combine both penthouse units for a total of close to 2,400 sqft interior and 1,200 sqft exterior,” Miller said in an email.

We’ll check in with more photos and details of PH1001 when they come out, but for now, take a look at a couple of pictures from PH1002. Then, close your eyes and imagine the possibilities of doubling the space.

I’ll leave to your fantasies now…
