Recently, I sat down with Douglas Elliman’s Jeramin Miller to chat with him about the Court Square area. Miller is a Court Square resident himself, and has an inside track on what’s going on in the neighborhood. Here’s what he had to say:
The Court Square Blog: Tell us about your real estate practice.
Jermain Miller: I am a real estate broker with Douglas Elliman. I service NYC and Miami Florida. My areas of specialty are Long Island City, which I am a resident of, Manhattan Brooklyn and in Florida Downtown Miami/South Beach.
TCSB: Why do you think Court Square is a good place to purchase?
JM: The commercial infrastructure is there for tons of retail (most of which is on the way) because of the transportation hub (7 separate train lines), close proximity 59th St. Bridge, ease to Manhattan, the Pulaski into Brooklyn, LIE to Long Island, and ease of access to LGA and JFK.
TCSB: It’s still pretty raw out here, though. How long do you think it will take Court Square to reach its potential?
JM: I think with all that’s in the pipeline Court Sq. will be amazing in mid-2015.
TCSB: How do we get in touch with you to find out more?
JM: You can get in touch with me by:
