Construction crews begin work at 26-21 Jackson Avenue

Construction crews have begun work at 26-21 Jackson Avenue, which is part of a group of buildings that Rockrose president Justin Elghanayan plans to turn into retail space.1

We spoke with the construction staff on Wednesday, and they told us that they will be removing the second and third floors so that the interior will be one hallow space. That’s confirmed by a picture of the work permit (below). No specific plans have materialized for this row of buildings despite the area being desperate for some amenities.2
