“Welcome to LIC” Breakfast with Melinda Katz

The Long Island City Partnership will be hosting a “Welcome to LIC” Breakfast with Queens Borough President Melinda Katz on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 8-9:30 am at the CUNY Law Auditorium at 2 Court Square.1 Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer will introduce her, and our LIC Partnership president Liz Lusskin will also be speaking along with two LICP board members. The event will include networking/breakfast from 8-8:30 a.m. and after Katz’s speech there will be 20 minutes of Q&A.

Tickets are $50 for LIC Partnership Members and $60 for non-Members.

  1. I’m somewhat interested in going, but I’m not exactly sure what it’s going to be like. Which makes me apprehensive to drop the $50. Is it a Q&A? Is it people just standing around rubbing elbows? The page doesn’t really provide much insight.

    • Hi Amadeo: I just reached out to the spokeswoman from LIC Partnership and here’s how she responded (which I have also placed into my article): “Thanks for the question! The event will include networking/breakfast from 8-8:30 and then yes, after Melinda Katzs speech there will be 20 minutes of q&a.”
