H/T to TCSB reader Amadeo Plaza, who gave us a heads up about filming going on in Court Square area this morning. We investigated, and found that NBC is shooting a pilot for “Tin Man.” Trucks were lined up on 44th Drive, Thompson Avenue, Crescent Street, Court Square and Jackson Avenue this morning.
The TV series is written by Ehren Kruger, who also wrote the screenplays for all of the “Transformers” movies.1
Here’s a quick synopsis of the show:2
From Universal TV, “Tin Man” is a psychological crime thriller set in the near future that focuses on a fugitive robot accused of first degree murder. The robot may hold the key to the future of human evolution, and a young female public defender is forced to fight for his cause.
