Next to nothing is known about the lot at 27-07 43rd Avenue, as the empty lot has been untouched for years. That is, until Wednesday, when construction crews began erecting a fence around the construction site. A member of the crew told us that the building was going to be a residential building, but offered few other details.
We took a look at the building permits, and confirmed that it is going to be a residential building, and that Jian Li Inc., a Flushing construction company, will be doing the work.1 The permit also shows that Gene Kaufman is the applicant of record. Kaufman was the architect of The Vista on Purves Street that delivered in February.2
But the permits offer little else in terms of insight into what is happening in this lot. If you know, please let us know!
