25-02 Queens Plaza South was the site of a tragic car accident that cost an NYPD officer her life back in December.1 The officer was exiting the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge when the vehicle hit the guard rail and eventually slammed into the stores on Queens Plaza South.
Construction is now underway to repair 25-02 Queens Plaza South, which was the home of Panini Tozt Cafe. According to DOB documents on the storefront, the accident didn’t cause any structural damage to the building, but the building still requires some work before the store can reopen.
