Construction is moving along quickly at 27-18 44th Drive, the future home of Dog Island City. Ever since construction began in early April, the building was covered by a blue sheet. Well, sometime last week, construction crews took that sheet down to reveal the front of the future dog grooming/care store, though a fence is still mostly covering the storefront.
Owner Lidia Lozovsky told The Court Square Blog that she intends on opening her store by the end of June.1
Dog Island City, which opened in 2009, offers “cage free, comfortable, nurturing, kind and caring environment. Your pet will interact with others – enjoying the social interaction pets crave.”2
