Things appear to be wrapping up at 44-04 21st Street, home of a future 89-room hotel. The building is right next to the recently opened ‘The Local,’ a hostile with a downstairs bar. According to Queens Brownstoner, construction began some time in early 2013 on the building, and topped out sometime back in October.1 As you can see from the photos below, construction crews took down scaffolding to reveal the facade in the months since then.
No word on what brand hotel will inhabit the building.
