The QCA Block Party Poster
On June 21st, 2014 from 4pm – 10pm, the Queens Council on the Arts (QCA) will host the QCA Block Party inside the newly designated Kaufman Arts District on 35th Avenue & 36th Street in Astoria.

The Block Party is a fundraiser to support the High School to Art School Portfolio Program (HS2AS). The High School to Art School program (HS2AS) is a free portfolio development program aimed at developing and fostering an in-depth understanding of art, while guiding NYC high school students through the art college application process.
Here’s what you get for your $35 ticket:
- A free soda or water
- Admission to the film festival screening & all the popcorn you can eat!
- All day access to artist activities, great local eateries & breweries, live bands all day long
- A signature festival cup
