While Ekstein waits for approval on its plans at 25-19 43rd Avenue,1 the Department of Buildings did approve a permit for a construction fence on June 30.2 Construction crews went to work immediately after approval, and put up the construction fence around the property, as seen in the pictures below.
When all is said and done, the project will turn into a 86-unit condominium with “a fitness center, roof deck, parking, bike storage and other amenities.”3 Douglas Elliman will be handling the project, and we’re being told that the building will have studios, 1BR and 2BRs.
