Construction is on the verge of wrapping up at 26-16 Jackson Avenue. Recently, crews have turned their attention to the ground floor, as you can see from the photos below. Windows on the ground floor have been installed as well as a snazzy new blue awning. Residents will enter in the center of the building where the new awning is located and it appears there will be two retail spaces on each side of the center entrance.
When it’s finished, it will bring 98 new units to the area, with an 80/20 split, following the New York City affordable housing program.1 Amenities will include a fitness center, bike storage and finished roof deck. It will also feature 5,000 square feet of retail on the ground floor.2
