Signage up at Dog Island City, owner aims for July 25 opening

Just last week, construction workers hung up a sign advertising the imminent arrival of Dog Island City at 27-18 44th Drive. Owner Lidia Lozovsky told The Court Square Blog in an email that while she doesn’t have an official opening date, she is aiming for July 25. It has been warp speed progress for the lot, which only started construction in early April.¹

Dog Island City, which opened in 2009, offers “cage free, comfortable, nurturing, kind and caring environment. Your pet will interact with others – enjoying the social interaction pets crave.”²
