Demolition underway at 25-19 43rd Avenue

Roughly a week after Ekstein Development erected a construction fence at 25-19 43rd Avenue, crews went forward with demolition that was approved in late June.1 Ekstein is still waiting to hear from the Department of Buildings on their building permit, but that obviously didn’t stop the building from being torn down.2

When all is said and done, the project will turn into a 86-unit condominium with “a fitness center, roof deck, parking, bike storage and other amenities.”3 Douglas Elliman will be handling the project, and we’re being told that the building will have studios, 1BR and 2BRs.
