Construction crews hung a permanent sign for Dog Island City’s (27-18 44th Drive) over the weekend a week after they hung a temporary sign last week announcing its imminent arrival.1 Owner Lidia Lozovsky told The Court Square Blog in an email that the store’s soft opening date will be August 1 with a Grand Opening date to be announced later.
Dog Island City, which opened in 2009, offers “cage free, comfortable, nurturing, kind and caring environment. Your pet will interact with others – enjoying the social interaction pets crave.”2
