In late June, Modern Spaces began selling apartments inside The Madison LIC at 42-77 Hunter Street.1 In July, construction crews hung the below sign advertising the space. It doesn’t look like The Madison LIC has had any problems selling, with Curbed NY reporting that more than 30 percent of the units are in contract after roughly a month on the market. In mid-July, Modern Spaces released two more units on the fourth floor, each going for $1,000/sq. ft.2
Projected to deliver sometime later this month, the “finger” building will have 11,845-square-feet of residential space (14 units) and 654-square-feet of commercial space.3 Amenities include a roof deck, bike storage, personal storage, a garden and exercise room.
