Demolition is about to begin at 42-14 Crescent Street, the future home of a 48-unit rental building designed by John Fotiadis.1 Earlier in the week, we spotted a construction fence (seen below) surrounding the structure. The current two-story building that stands there isn’t long for this world.
According to New York YIMBY, construction on the 13-story building (which will house studios, one- and two-bedrooms) will begin in the fall and deliver in late 2015. According to permits filed with the Department of Buildings on July 11, the building will have 39,133 square feet of residential space (a FAR of 7.98) and 746 square feet of commercial space.2
