Project Renewal is also partnering with the Breast Treatment Task Force (BTTF) to provide free diagnostic exams and treatment at the event for anyone who has an abnormal mammogram.

The Pink Bra Tour, a cross-country fundraising event, stops at 10 CrossFit gyms across the country chosen based on their outstanding fundraising efforts last year. The events feature Barbells for Boobs’ “Pro Advocates,” elite CrossFit athletes and coaches.

This year Barbells for Boobs awarded a grant to Project Renewal to help fund the ScanVan, the nation’s first mobile mammography clinic. The ScanVan provides mammograms each year to 5,000 New York City women who are homeless, low-income, uninsured or face other healthcare barriers.

BTTF is also supported by a grant from Barbells for Boobs, which provides funding to programs across the country.
