Construction is in full swing at 44-80 21st Street, which, according to permits, will be the future home of a Dunkin’ Donuts.1 We stopped by the work site last week, and you can see that things are progressing quickly with the interior Sheetrock and tiling in the process of being installed.
Here is the exact language from the DOB permit approved on Sept. 8:2
“INTERIOR RENOVATION FOR PROPOSED DUNKIN DONUTS ON FIRST FLOOR. INSTALL NON-LOAD BEARING PARTITIONS, MECHANICAL SYSTEM AND PLUMBING FIXTURES. NO CHANGE IN USE, EGRESS OR OCCUPANCY.”
