TCSB: Why did you pick Court Square?
MB: One of the reasons I picked Court Square is its’ central location. The Landmark District and Historic buildings are part of Court Square. Court Square was always downtown LIC. Even before Citibank Building, the courthouse set the stage for Court Square. So, to summarize: Central location, close to transportation and downtown Long Island City.
TCSB: How long do you think it will take before this area takes the next step?
MB: It may be 3 years…or less!
TCSB: How do you eventually see the commercial/retail filing in?
MB: I think retail, galleries and offices will continue to flourish in the area.
TCSB: What makes this such an attractive residential area?
MB: The transportation, proximity to Manhattan and prices are more reasonable that other parts on NYC. For example, Williamsburg, Greenpoint etc.
