Participate in LICBID Expansion Survey

Proposed Sub-district-600x464

A Business Improvement District is a formal organization made up of property owners and commercial tenants within a defined boundary, dedicated to supporting business development and improving an area’s quality of life. Long Island City Partnership currently manages the Long Island City Business Improvement District (LIC BID), encompassing Queens Plaza North and South from 21st Street to Jackson Avenue, and along Jackson Avenue to 45th Avenue/Thompson Avenue.

Local stakeholders are currently exploring the opportunity to expand the boundaries of the LIC BID to create a sub-district which would include properties on Jackson Avenue, and portions of the Vernon Boulevard and 44th Drive corridors as a means to deliver targeted sanitation, beautification/placemaking and marketing services among others. A survey will be mailed to all property owners and tenants within the potential expansion area boundaries to get feedback about priority issues and desired services.
