In January, the Department of Buildings approved build permits on Ekstein’s project at 25-19 43rd Avenue.1 The start of the project appears imminent, as renderings for the building went up on the site, as seen below (and first spotted by our friend Amadeo Plaza). Demolition on the lot finished in the middle part of 2014.
The permit calls for 68,145 square feet of residential space, with will span nine floors and 86 units.2 The zoning is for a FAR of 5.00.
