Construction at 23-10 Jackson Avenue moving along as Bia applies for liquor license

Construction appears to be moving along at 23-10 Jackson Avenue, the future home of the Vietnamese restaurant ‘Bia.’ Since we last checked in back in February, construction crews have installed a wood shed on the site, likely to install a new outside façade for the restaurant.1

The other new addition on site is a notice that the restaurant is applying for a liquor license as seen in the second photo below.

The owners of Bia67 on South 6th Street in Williamsburg will be inhabiting the building and according to Oren Friedman of DY Realty Services, the broker of record on the deal, the eatery will open sometime this winter. “It will add some depth to the cuisine of the neighborhood and should make a nice lunch and after work spot for drinks,” Friedman said by email in November.
