A rendering has appeared at 24-12 42nd Road, future home of an eight-story mixed-use building. The lot comprises three former buildings at 24-12 42nd Road, 42-34 Crescent Street and 42-38 Crescent Street. Demolition wrapped back in August, and there’s been no activity since then.1 But with the rendering up, we expect to see activity in the near future, especially with construction permits being partially approved on April 17.
According to New York YIMBY (who was the first to obtain renderings of the project), the building is being developed by the Ampiera Group, and the architect of record is My-Architecture.2 The developers filed an application for an eight story build that contains 29,403 of residential space and 4,328 of commercial space.3 The building is zoned for a FAR of 5.0.
