Well, that was fast. A little over a week after we initially saw scaffolding going up at 27-21 44th Drive, construction crews have laid waste to the former two-story building.1 We snapped the below bird’s eye picture of the site last week. It likely won’t be long before we start to see construction begin on the site.
The Department of Buildings approved permits on April 15, which calls for a 26-story residential tower with 104,354 square feet of residential space and 6,095 square feet of commercial space.2 The building will have 115 units with a FAR of 7.8.
