Back in March,1 construction crews erected a wood shed at 23-10 Jackson Avenue, the future home of the Vietnamese restaurant ‘Bia.’ Last week, that shed came down revealing a black metal frame for the exterior that will allow people outside to look in from floor to ceiling. As you can see in the photo, the space will feature exposed brick and should be a nice after work spot.
The owners of Bia67 on South 6th Street in Williamsburg will be inhabiting the building according to Oren Friedman of DY Realty Services. “It will add some depth to the cuisine of the neighborhood and should make a nice lunch and after work spot for drinks,” Friedman said by email in November.
Excellent – looks like a solid addition to the neighborhood
