A construction fence is up and a one-story building has been demolished at the site of 42-43 27th Street.1 The building was purchased last year for approximately $1.7 million, and according to DOB Permits, the building will be a mixed use project with 5,552 square feet of residential space and 1,450 square feet of commercial space.2 It will rise six stories and have eight units but permits have not been approved yet.
