Secret Children’s Theatre’s “Pirate Pete’s Parrot,” the longest-running children’s show in Queens will be giving a FREE PERFORMANCE of “Pirate Pete” at the LIC Food & Flea on Sunday, June 6 at 1:30 p.m. The Flea is located at 5-25 46th Ave.
Here’s more information about the show:
In the tradition of the wildly popular English pantomime shows, Pirate Pete’s Parrot promises music, mischief, and a boatload of laughs for both children and adults. The play revolves around Pirate Pete, a lovable rogue on a mission to find his beloved runaway parrot, Polly, and some buried treasure to help make rent. Pete and his ragtag crew embark on a journey complete with songs, jokes and plenty of audience participation!
Pirate Pete’s Parrot is part of a rotating line-up of children’s musicals, presented every Saturday at The Secret Theatre. All are a part of The Secret Theatre’s ongoing commitment to quality theatre for children. Pete and the new Katz n’ Dogs (Saturdays at noon) alternate each week with Princess Particular, also at 2pm.
