The Factory LIC Generates 16,269 Square Feet of New Deals

June 24, 2015 – Long Island City, NY – Atlas Capital Group announced today that two new leases have been signed at The Factory in Long Island City, New York. The fresh deals welcome companies from two different industries, one of them relocating from Manhattan.

Gwynnie Bee leased a 12,702 square foot pre-built suite on the fifth floor. Gwynnie Bee is an online clothing rental subscription service for women. The new pre-built comes standard with scarified and sealed concrete floors, 12-foot ceilings, high efficiency lighting with occupancy sensors, two glass fronted conference rooms, modern pantry with stainless steel appliances, and new windows with low-e glass and postcard views of the Manhattan skyline. Gwynnie Bee was represented by Robin Fisher and Christie Bennett from Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

Applied Research & Consulting (ARC), a full-service public opinion polling, market research and data analysis firm is moving to Long Island City from West 13th Street in Manhattan. ARC inked 3,567 square feet on the fourth floor to take advantage of the abundance of light and air, as well as the flexible open space The Factory offers its tenants. ARC was represented by Haley Fisher and Michael Blanchard from Cushman & Wakefield.
