In July, we checked in on Rockrose’s 43-25 Hunter Street project and noted that construction had quickly risen over the construction fence.1 The first phase of the project has now topped out at 14 floors, as seen in the second photo below. Crews have now turned their attention to the 44th Drive side of the project, with a four-story retail space well along the way as seen in the first photo below. Eventually, work will begin on the tallest part of the project, a build that will rise 50 stories.
According to permits, the 50-story building will have 767,305 square feet of residential space and 18,800 square feet of retail space.2 The renderings on site call for a summer 2017 delivery on the building.
