Join the Long Island City Cultural Alliance (LICCA) for its first Art Stroll on Saturday, November 21st – a very special guided walking tour of three of Long Island City’s renowned art institutions: Dorsky Gallery Curatorial Program, SculptureCenter, and MoMA PS1.
We will begin our afternoon stroll at Dorsky Gallery Curatorial Programs where Director Noah Dorsky will guide the group through the current exhibition Uncanny/Figure, curated by Lilly Wei.
From there we will walk 10 minutes to the recently expanded SculptureCenter for a guided tour of its current exhibitions, Anthea Hamilton: Lichen! Libido! Chastity! and Gabriel Sierra: Numbers in a Room.
We will then take the quick 7-minute walk down Jackson Avenue to our final destination,MoMA PS1, where Senior Manager of Visitor Services Zach Bowman will lead a tour of Greater New York. A wine reception at MoMA PS1 will follow.
PLEASE NOTE: This walking tour is rain or shine. Good walking shoes are strongly recommended.
