Demolition complete at 42-22 27th Street

Demolition has wrapped at 42-22 27th Street, the former home of the Korea Times. A construction fence went up in mid-December, and when we stopped by over the weekend, we saw that the entire structure had been demolished, as seen in photos below.

Permits, first spotted by The Real Deal,1 were filed calling for 114,801 square feet of residential space and 20,304 square feet of commercial space with a total FAR of 5.54.2 There will be 15 stories with 99 units. Permits were approved on June 4, 2015. Simon Dushinsky’s Rabsky Group is in charge of the project.
