Maximus Locksmith at 25-04 Queens Plaza South is now officially open. It was a fairly lengthy process for the storefront, which first put up signage back in August.1 Its neighbor, Fresh Pick, opened up in December.2
The two storefronts needed to be repaired following a crash in December 2013 that killed an NYPD cop.3 It was the latest in a line of accidents in the storefront, which is directly off a poorly designed exit ramp on the Ed Koch-Queensborough Bridge.4
