Back in June, we noted that excavation started at 45-08 23rd Street for a three-story residential building.1 Since then, however, work has completely gone quiet on the site. When we stopped by last week, we noticed that weeds have begun growing inside the plot, as seen in the photo below. We’ll update you all again if work restarts.

I used to see a whole bunch of rats in that lot while waiting for the 7 at Court Square. Hopefully they have dealt with that problem since…
