THE NIGHT OWLS are an instrumental piano trio in the tradition of Vince Guaraldi (“Peanuts”), Ramsey Lewis (“The In Crowd”) and Horace Silver.2

From TV theme songs to New Orleans grooves, from West Coast jazz to 70’s pop tunes, THE NIGHT OWLS provide music that will satisfy both the most discerning listeners as well as people who just want to have a great time.

They mix taste, funkiness, and elegance with popular appeal.

Lee Feldman (piano), Ben Gallina (bass) and David Berger (drums) are three of New York’s most in-demand musicians, and they perform a wide range of tunes.

Lee Feldman is known for both his piano playing and songwriting.
He was signed to Mercury Records and has put out four critically acclaimed albums.

“Lee Feldman plays the piano in just the dry, subtle, understated manner that his dry, subtle, understatedly hilarious songs call for.” – Atlantic Monthly . . “Reviving a bit of Brill Building artistry, this New York piano man makes you think and swoon and hum all at once.” – The Village Voice

Ben Gallina’s bass playing has made it’s way onto film, television, and radio and has brought him to the stages of Lincoln Center, Broadway, and over half of the Fifty Nifty United States. As a Producer, Ben has released two albums of original compositions/arrangements that have been described as “cinematic in scope” (NYC Jazz Record) and praised for having “smart tunes with great ensemble writing” (All Music Guide).

David Berger is a drummer from St. Louis, MO. by way of New Orleans. His drumming can be heard on recent release: ‘I’m Hip’ by Ana Gasteyer, and the soon to be released album from Amy Helm & the Handsome Strangers, where he shared duties with the legendary drummer, Levon Helm. Berger has also recently backed American Jazz & Blues vocalists Cassandra Wilson & Catharine Russell, American Soul singer William Bell, children’s music composer/performer Elizabeth Mitchell, Steely Dan front man Donald Fagan & downtown luminary, Bridget Everett’s: Rock Bottom!
