In December, we noted that construction had just started peaking over the fence at 27-21 44th Drive.1 When we stopped by last week, we saw that construction has risen five stories, and seven floors are completed if you count the two basement levels on the lot.
The Department of Buildings permits call for a 26-story residential tower with 104,354 square feet of residential space and 6,095 square feet of commercial space.2 The building will have 115 units with a FAR of 7.8.
