Back in October, we stopped by 23-01 44th Drive and noticed that abatement was underway at 23-01 44th Drive.1 Last week, we popped in at the current home of a vacant three-story building and saw that crews have put up a construction fence on site, as seen in the photo below.
According to a Department of Buildings permit, the site was approved for demolition on Feb. 11.2 The building previously housed six apartments and the lot is zoned for mixed use.
