Just last week, we reported that a construction fence had been put up at 23-01 44th Drive.1 Demolition appears to be imminent on site, with pipe scaffolding now installed on the three-story structure, as seen in the photo below.
According to a Department of Buildings permit, the site was approved for demolition on Feb. 11.2 The building previously housed six apartments and the lot is zoned for mixed use.
