We last stopped by Tishman Speyer’s Long Island City project at 28-34 Jackson Avenue, 28-10 Jackson Avenue and 30-02 Queens Boulevard back in December, when foundation work was moving quickly.1 The southern part of the site has started to rise, with construction rising above the fence, as seen in the photo below. The northern part of the site is still focused on foundation work, but seems to be moving along quickly, as well. By 2018, there will be three large residential builds with ground floor retail.2
Here are more details of the project from Queens Brownstoner:3
The project includes three towers: 28-34 Jackson Avenue, holding 658 units and 6,000 square feet of retail space, 28-10 Jackson Avenue, with 683 units and 3,000 square feet of retail space, and 30-02 Queens Boulevard, with 448 apartments and 6,500 square feet of retail. (1,789 apartments and 1.2 million square feet of new development in total!)

Construction is above the fence now on the southern side of the project

Foundation work is moving along quickly on the northern side
