We were walking by 26-25 Jackson Avenue recently when we noticed that a construction crew was doing some work on the site. The retail space has had two permits filed recently with the Department of Buildings.
One calls for a relocation of the “powder room,” currently located on the first floor.1 The second is requesting permission for a “NEW STOREFRONT AND REPLACE WINDOWS ON FRONT AND REAR FACADE.”2 Both were filed on Feb. 18, and the first permit has already been approved.
26-25 Jackson Avenue is one of several retail spots that Rockrose owns. The Court Square Blog also reported that 26-21 Jackson Avenue will eventually be a home to a Cibo restaurant.3
