In February, we reported that pipe scaffolding had been installed at 23-01 44th Drive pursuant to a demolition permit filed with the DOB.1 When we walked by the site last week, we saw that demolition had finished on the building, as seen in the photos below.
According to a Department of Buildings permit, the site was approved for demolition on Feb. 11.2 The building previously housed six apartments and the lot is zoned for mixed use.
