It’s been quite a while (last may) since we checked in at 24-12 42nd Road.1 Back then, construction had just started. Last week, when we stopped by, we saw that work has started to rise above the construction fence, as seen in the photo below.
According to New York YIMBY (who was the first to obtain renderings of the project), the building is being developed by the Ampiera Group, and the architect of record is My-Architecture.2 The developers filed an application for an eight story build that contains 29,403 of residential space and 4,328 of commercial space.3 The building is zoned for a FAR of 5.0.
