The last time we checked in on 42-43 27th Street was in March, when we noticed that work had started on the site.1 When we stopped by last week, we saw that rebar is now sprouting from the ground, as seen in the photo below.
When all is said and done, a six story, eight unit build with ground floor retail will be built.2 The building was purchased last year for approximately $1.7 million, and New York YIMBY was the first to spot permits in 2014.3
