We last checked in on 42-10 27th Street back in March, when construction crews were working on the foundation.1 When we stopped by last week, we saw that foundation work is still underway, but the middle portion of the site has moved more quickly, with rebar now sprouting from the ground, as seen in the photo below.
The lot is the future home of a 110-unit, 18-story building with 81,424 square feet of residential space and 8,645 square feet of commercial space.2 Permits were approved by the Department of Buildings on the site on May 19. NY Curbed spotted renderings for the build back in February.3
