Rockrose files permits at 26-19 Jackson Avenue, former home of See.Me

We last stopped by 26-19 Jackson Avenue in September, when See.Me, a gallery that had inhabited the space, had closed.1 The space has been vacant since then, but in a sign that owner Rockrose may be looking to fill the space soon, the construction company filed two permits recently.

The first permit calls for: “FILING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A NEW STOREFRONT, NEW ADA RAMP, NEW RATED PARTITIONS AND NEW EGRESS DOOR IN THE REAR. AS SHOWN ON DRAWINGS FILED HEREWITH. NO CHANGE IN USE, EGRESS OR OCCUPANCY.”2

The second is related to the first filed permit: “FILING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION FENCE TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC DURING NEW STORE FRONT SCOPE. NO CHANGE IN USE, EGRESS OR OCCUPANCY.”3

The construction fence has not been installed yet, but we will check back in when it is.

No replacement tenant has been confirmed yet.
