In May, we noted that Chipotle filed construction permits with the Department of Buildings at 26-14 Jackson Avenue.1 Looks like construction is about to begin, with signage appearing on the storefront calling for an Aug. 9, 2016 completion to the restaurant, as seen in the photo below. New construction paper was also hung on the windows.
Permits were approved on the site on May 17.2 The story was first reported by our very good friends over at LICTalk in September.3
