We last checked in on 27-07 43rd Avenue, the future home of a Hyatt Hotel, back in May, when the building was near topping out.1 Now that we’re in June, we stopped by again last week and saw that the building has officially topped out, and facade work is underway.
When all is said and done, the building will turn into a 9-story Hyatt Hotel with 108 hotel rooms and nearly 50,000 square feet commercial space.2 According to the rendering, construction will wrap sometime in spring, 2016, though that’s likely to be the end of summer or fall now.
